Excellent place to work, I love working here.

Good place to work

Have worked there 6 years , family atmosphere

Great company plenty of miles tgi around

Equipment is Top Notch

WAS a good company! I worked here for a few years and I thought I had found my home! Great equipment, knowledgeable staff, the Owner Mr. Lavy was very personal and made it a point to know his drivers and to shake their hands! But as time passed some of the good dispatchers retired and new ones were slow to catch on! (Few didn't make it and had to be replaced ) the Great Safety manager quit and was twice replaced for the worse! Everything became a blame game with the driver always being wrong! And Tim the new Safety guy not even knowing his duties and thinks he OWNS the company makes up his own rules, and problem to solve! With the rules it was always the last driver. My last two weeks there were the worst weeks of my 10year career! The company went from an open door company to a same the door in your face company in the matter of months! Since so many of the good seasoned drivers were getting run off they had to start lying to newbies to fill the trucks! When I started there you had to have a minimum of three years of experience before they would even consider you! At the end it was a year ( maybe less) and you start seeing almost every trailer smashed and scraped up, trucks with body damage! But I guess the drivers are cheaper! My last month I was getting blamed for a trailer that was damaged. And I honestly do not know what happened but I dropped it at the yard with a load of paper rolls for a local driver to deliver. A week later I get a phone call saying I damaged the trailer. And knowing I didn't because I dropped the trailer so it could be serviced and then delivered! Mechanic reported no damage after I dropped it. They would not even check the cameras in the lot or in the shop. And the trailer could not have been loaded with that kind of damage( Georgia pacific checks inside and out before loading). The local driver does not report any damage until after he drops load in Indiana with pictures in a gravel lot saying he took them at the yard when he picked up the load! The terminal is all blacktop!! So I guess they needed someone to b lame or the Safety man Tim is just too dumb to actually do his job! Also idle time is something you get written up for even of you do a Texas load and they give you 3 days to deliver a 1000mile load.! But Tim thinks it's OK to fry! Also do not believe their no forced dispatch. This company is now a dictatorship! Think twice!
